The Pit -Video Installation (2024)
Research-based video installation
combining testimony, archival material, and soundscapes.
The installation brings together handcrafted prints and multi-channel audiovisual works that examine an unfinished, fragmented, and unsafe environment, shaped by instability rather than permanence
The pit emerges as a potential site of retreat, slipping outside familiar spatial and linguistic categories.
Rather than functioning as a metaphor, the pit is approached as a concrete spatial condition,
one that unsettles distinctions between movement and stillness, presence and absence.
The installation expands the film The Pit - A Witness Tale, re-investigating the material through audiovisual forms grounded in research-based and sensory knowledge.
